Joana Risteska

Joana Risteska  (MK, °1994) is an acoustic guitar player from Skopje, Macedonia.

Born in 1994, she has finished primary music school, and has then continued her education in Music and Ballet High School in Skopje. She is currently a student at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, Faculty of Music in the study program ‘music performer and pedagogue for classical guitar’.

She has contributed to various projects, performances and concerts such as chamber duets with viola, piano, flute, guitar quartet, guitar orchestra and ‘One, two, three – 103’ [ 2014 ] –an improvisation session with more than 20 musicians in organization of Macedonian underground Radio ‘Kanal 103’.

She has participated in state and international competitions for classical and chamber music, music compositions and several guitar workshops.
